Impossible Is Nothing, President Uhuru Delivers New Images In Nairobi As Infrastructure Takes Shape

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday night commissioned five new hospitals in Nairobi County and directed them to offer 24-hour services to residents.

As medical technology progresses at a fast pace, Kenya has not been left out in ever growing health systems. The government is working round the clock to fit hospitals with state of the art medical systems which ensure quality healthcare.

The Head of State commissioned the following hospitals within the city: two level 2 hospitals; one at Gichagi in Kangemi and the other in Gatina, Kawangware; three level 3 hospitals in Mukuru Kwa Rueben, Tassia Kwa Ndege and Our Lady of Nazareth in Mukuru Kwa Njenga.

All the 24 hospitals will have tarmacked roads to improve accessibility. This is part of NMS roads upgrade in the informal settlements.

Up-to-date, high-tech equipment is key to every medical specialty. The government has invested in the most innovative and advanced rehabilitative technology and equipment.

President Uhuru's government has increased renal units in hospitals from 6 to 54 and has distributed over 360 dialysis equipment under the Managed Equipment services Programme.
