The corona virus pandemic has brought along with itself detrimental effects to the human race. People across the globe have lost hope in their governments, more so in Africa where the poverty level is so high, beyond imagination.
Humans have died in large numbers as others are forced to seek for alternative ways to survive. Some of these survival tactics are not good at all, as have been experienced by the world.
Kenyans have not been left behind in relation to the COVID-19 effects. The citizens have cried of the endless lockdowns and curfew hours which continue to deterrorise their livelihoods.
It's sad watching the news about people becoming mad due to the hard life situations. In Mombasa for instance, a number of people have been reported to have sorted to take drugs in order to fight their depressions.
Essential commodities such as the maize floor, bread, tomatoes, sugar, etc, are now becoming too expensive for the common mwananchi. The government however is trying its best, but the citizens are crying out loud even a they prepare for the tough times ahead.
