Ministry of health today has announced a worrying data showing that Kisumu county is likely to put under total Lockdown following an exponential increase in the rate of infection that have been recorded for the past one week. This now shows that the government needs to take a serious measures to curb the spread of this pandemic before it gets out of hands.
According to the MOH, it was realized that for the first time since Kenya reported it's first case of covid-19, Kisumu county has recorded 102 cases of covid-19 infection which is the highest number that have been recorded in this county so far.
Mutai Kagwe has insisted that the government is on the watch and that they will do what it takes to ensure that these cases are decreased. However, some section of Kenyans now claims that the only measure that can assist is either cessation of movement accompanied with dusk to Dawn curfew.
