Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) Secretary General Dr. Davji Bhimji has thrown his weight in the contentious issue regarding the health practitioners whom have alleged that renown Prophet Dr Edward Awuor has healing powers to cure HIV.
In his response the Dr Alleges that matters of religion can not be politicised as he ceased from commenting on the the assertions by the medics on prophet Awuor's healing powers.
However the outspoken chair insisted that religious leaders who claim to have healing powers should visit the health centers where their services would be urgently needed.
The response come at a time three medical doctors are depicted in a social media media posted video saying and claiming that the prophet has the abilities to cure the deadly virus.
clinical officer Festo Musonye and Medical Doctors Rerimoi Kibet and Toromo Kochei are have been identified as the health practitioners proclaiming that Indeed the prophet has healing powers.
