The Ministry of Health has this night sent a message to all Kenyans informing Kenyans that in the last 24 hours 358 samples were tested for Covid 19 and a total of 11 samples turned positive for the virus.
5 of the new cases are males and 6 cases are females.
The youngest is only 9 years old and the oldest is 96 years old.
In terms of county distribution Nairobi County has recorded 5 cases, Nakuru 2, Nyeri 2, Kiambu 1 and Siaya 1 case.
21 patients recovered. All the new recoveries are from the home based isolation and care program. No fatalities were recorded in the last 24 hours.
11 patients are currently admitted in the health care facilities countrywide. 114 are under the home based isolation and care program. 1 patient is under supplemental oxygen and is in the General Ward.
