Kenya Hit Hard By Covid-19 As 24 Die

Coronavirus disease started in China in Wuhan City. It later spread to other nations after a short time.

Here in Kenya, the first case was reported in mid-March last. Since then all the 47 counties have registered infections.

Today Kenya has recorded 591 Covid-19 cases from a sample size of 4,737 tested in the last 24hrs. This means that the total number of cases now stands at 204,271. The positivity rate rose to 12.5%

The good news is that 561 patients recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 189,692.

However, on a sad note 24 patients succumbed to the disease raising fatalities to 3,970.
