In our country, there are more than 40 millions people. Furthermore, there are government hospitals and private hospitals which have been treating many Kenyans. Unfortunately, many innocent Kenyans have been retained in different hospitals after failing to raise some money. These cases has been reported in the country and many innocent people are still in hospitals.
According to the source, Cabinet Secretary of health Mutahi Kagwe have broke the silence and issued new guidelines to private facilities in the country which have been detaining bodies of some Kenyans. According to his statement today, CS have revealed that the government will regulate the amount of money that private hospitals will charge patients in the country . Also he has added that it is a criminal to hold dead bodies for along time and ask millions of money from poor people. This is a huge blow to most private hospitals which have been making millions of money from innocent people through this methods of detaining dead bodies.
This comes in after some people in the country have been seeking help to pay medical bills in private hospitals.
