Ministry of Health: This is What You Are Supposed to do After Receiving Covid-19 Vaccine

The Ministry of health through their Twitter page has listed a number of guidelines that ought to be followed by everyone after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine.

The Ministry has stated that it's critical to adhere to laid down Covid-19 protocols, guidelines and procedures amongst them being wearing a mask, keeping social distancing, staying away from overcrowded areas and frequent hand washing once you receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

"Vaccinated persons should continue to follow all current guidances to protect themselves and others. This includes wearing a mask, staying at 6 feet away from others, avoiding crowds and washing hands often," the Ministry of health stated.

This information is essential as it comes at a time when kenyans have raised questions on why people are getting infected with Corona virus even after receiving AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine.

In a past press briefing, health CS Mutahi Kagwe indicated that being vaccinated against Covid-19 is not a guarantee that a person will not acquire the disease by further highlighted its significance in the body stating that it provides immunity against the disease.
