Kenyans could not hide their joy after President Uhuru today lifted the dusk to dawn curfew during his Mashujaa day speech at Warung'u stadium in Kirinyaga county. Hours later after lifting the curfew, Kenyans have not been left behind celebrating the good news coming from the head of state but the Ministry of Health has delivered the bad news.
Early this month, Nakuru and Nairobi have witnessed high numbers of political rallies and today's numbers might be related to recent political gatherings which to date remain suspended by President Uhuru.
With the lifting of dusk to dawn curfew today, the numbers might rise as political gatherings might continue till late hours and many people will have little restrictions to attend the rallies.
