Huge Blow In Kisumu As The Demand For COVID-19 Vaccination Is Higher Than Vaccines Available

Following the Madaraka Day that was held, many citizens tends to ignore the measures. This lead to quick spread of the virus.

This forced the government incoperation with the ministry of health to impose curfew and restricted travelling to curb the spread.

Kisumu being the epicenter, they residents were therefore advised to seek vaccination.Due to the large size of the population, the demand rises today as some lamenting that they have not been vaccinated at all .

This happens because the Vaccines are not enough as well as vaccination officers .In my opinion, the citizens should exercise patience since it will take time for everyone to get vaccinated.

Besides, many also complained that some measures like curfew has greatly affected the economy .This making it rough for "mama mboga" to meet her daily needs since the volume of sales has reduced thus incurring loses as the goods are perishable.

The pandemic is real and everyone should maintain social distance, wash hands and wear face masks.
