Although the Health Ministry under CS Mutahi Kagwe has been doing well since the outbreak of the corona virus disease in the country, there are circumstances that have been leaving then in hot soup. Things like the big money KEMSA corruption scandal and other stories from the Afya House have been leaving Kagwe and his team on in the mud.
The good thing is that Mutahi Kagwe and his team have been staying strong and as things seem to be, the are slowly but surely defeating the deadly Covid-19. That is because in recent days, the positivity rate has been dropping.
While that is the case, today things were not good after Kenyans woke up to worrying news from Mutahi Kagwe's Ministry. According to reports, the Health Ministry through Mercy Mwangangi stated that 840,000 Covid-19 vaccines expired in the country after laxity in vaccination.
If Kenyans are not going to get vaccinated, then who knows? Things may end up getting worse if by any chance there will be another wave of the dangerous disease and by that time, there won't be enough vaccines.
