Government pathologist Johansen Oduor has disclosed what precisely caused Model Edwin Chiloba's death following a thorough autopsy study. According to a statement made by Oduor on Wednesday, Chiloba's death was caused by hypoxia because oxygen could not reach his blood.
According to the autopsy that was performed at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, Chiloba's attackers used socks and pieces of clothing to prevent him from breathing. They suffocated him by putting socks over his lips and blocking his nose with a piece of denim. However, according to the official pathologist, his body had no visible wounds.
""After today's autopsy, we learned that Chiloba had been suffocated. He couldn't breathe because his lips and nose were closed. We discovered that his lips was covered with socks, and his nose was covered with jeans. He was unable to breathe, which caused him to pass away," stated Oduor in a statement.
Early allegations that Chiloba's eyes had been grounded out were denied by Oduor. Instead, he claimed that because the remains had been kept buried for so long, they had just sunk.
"Normally, you would assume that the eyes would be eliminated when a body decays, but they remain in place. He said, "His eyes were not removed.
