The ministry of health has today announced worrying news concerning the rate of Covid-19 infections in our country. Covid-19 pandemic has caused a lot of challenges in our country in terms of economic growth among others. Today a total of 813 people have tested positive from q sample size of 6,005. The positivity rate is now at 13.5%.
According to distribution per county is that Nairobi county is still leading with 358 cases followed by Siaya county with 73 cases and then other counties follows. From the look of things, due to high population in Nairobi county, the rate of Covid-19 infections is still high as compared to other counties.
As a result, all residents residing in Nairobi county and its environs are urged to take Covid-19 vaccination in large number so as to reduce the rate of Covid-19 infections in that places.
