Covid-19 pandemic has continued to wreck havoc in the world. It's two years since the virus was first discovered in Wuhan China and the virus have had a far reaching consequences in the life of people around the globe. Many countries and communities have been devastated by the adverse effects of the virus.
Development of Covid-19 vaccine brought the ray of hope in the whole world Kenya included. Countries around the world started vaccinating their population as a way of putting to an end the spread of the deadly virus.
However, vaccine inequality between developed and developing countries posed great challenge for collective fight against the virus. In Kenya, government through the ministry of health also embarked to mass vaccination of population as a way of controlling the spread of the virus.
The fight against the virus has been boosted this evening after Kenya receiving another 4.6 million doses of covid-19 vaccine. This is good news to kenyans as it will go long way in the fight against covid-19. Kenya has so far vaccinated atleast 7 million kenyans and it is targeting to vaccinate 10 million citizens at the end of the year.
