I/CSenior citizens in the country are now assured of medical protection after retirement, this follows the launch of a cover by "C.I.C" group targeting the elderly. The cover wil benefit those aged between 60 to 80 years. The group's managing director Mr Fred says that the product will be offering in patient, outpatient, dental, optical and will be within East Africa with the benefits of ambulance and air evacuation.
"The significant aspect of this product is that now our senior people in the society do have a solution that protects their financial security from the impacts of their ill health so if they get unwell they go to hospital, other than paying their bills out of pocket, we will be coming inn and pay for members who have bought our solutions. The pandemic has made the need more acute in the sense that we have been seing the older people being more affected and more vulnerable and people have requested us to find a solution" he said.
This has come as a sigh of relief and mostly to the aged and retired since not many covers are all inclusive to them and this has stood up on the major issues that affect the body when a human's age advances.
