World Celebrities Who Had Plastic Surgery That Turned Out Not As Expected

Linda Evangelista revealed on Instagram on September 23, 2021, that her five-year absence from the public eye was due to a non-surgical cosmetic procedure called coolsculpting on her face, which was supposed to use cold temperatures to reduce fat deposits. However, she allegedly experienced a rare reaction in which fat cells multiplied instead. "To my followers who have wondered why I haven't been working while my peers' careers have flourished, the reason is that I was brutally disfigured by a procedure that did the opposite of what it promised," she wrote on her instagram page.

Linda went on to say that her alleged disfigurement had not only destroyed her livelihood, but had also sent her into a spiral of deep depression, profound sadness, and the lowest depths of self-loathing.

Aside from outcomes that do not match the desired results, there are other complications associated with plastic surgery. The main risk of undergoing plastic surgery is medical complications such as an unexpected reaction to anesthesia, infections, scarring, excess bleeding, blood clots, nerve damage, fluid buildup, and separation at the incision site. There could be a more specific set of risks associated with the procedure you choose. In recent years, less invasive procedures such as botox and fillers have grown in popularity. These minimally invasive procedures are sometimes preferred over plastic surgery because they carry fewer risks. However, some risks remain, including: Infection, granulomas, bruising, redness of the skin, pain and irritation.

Vera Sidika, a Kenyan socialite and entrepreneur recently admitted to having reverse surgery to remove her butt implants. She describes it as the most difficult period of her life and attributes it to the decision to have her butt implants removed due to health risks and complications. Though she did not indicate clearly what complications she got, she backed her message with a photo. "It's still hard to believe, but I've accepted it and learned to love myself regardless. Ladies, please learn to love yourself and never succumb to peer pressure to do things that will ruin you in the future. God loves me so much that I'm lucky to be alive. To be honest, it's been difficult; I didn't even celebrate my birthday this year, but here we are. My birthday is today. New me. I've learned to appreciate life and to never take anything for granted. Thank you for being there for me, especially my husband "She stated this on her social media pages.
