The Ministry of Health has been announcing a significant reduction in the number of people who are testing positive for the Coronavirus for the week that has just ended. For instance, today the government through the Ministry of health has revealed that only 11 Individuals have tested positive for COVID-19. The most promising thing is the positivity rate. This is a greatest achievement and Kenyans have applauded the government for the significant improvement. Since curfew and other restrictions were lifted by the government, some Kenyans had expected that probably the number of infections will increase but the number is coming down at a promising rate.
Despite the fact that another variant of COVID-19 has been reported, Kenyans are full of hopes that it will not reach into Kenya. The government had earlier announced that they do not have any plans to ban international travel into Kenya and promised Kenyans that all will be well.
Kenyans just want the government to be careful with the new variant of COVID-19 so that it will not make its way into the country. Concerning the new data from the Ministry of Health, the few number of those who tested positive for COVID-19 is a sign that we will be concurring the virus very soon.
