Many of us know our beautiful Kenyan queen Doreen Moraa Moracha who is a HIV activist sharing facts about HIV and Aids. Through her, we have learnt alot. She is indeed a beautiful story.

Doreen has left Kenyans reacting after she shared some of the phrases we use that indicate stigma towards People Living With HIV. Some of these statements include "You don't look like you are HIV positive, I can still have raw sex with you despicable your HIV status, I like/love you even though you are HIV positive, nowadays HIV is just like a cold, and People are sick out here."
She openly explained that these phrases clearly indicate that we have upgraded from stigma of fear of physical touch or sharing utensils to stigmatizing language towards PLHIVS. Therefore, we can only end stigma related to HIV if we see the human and not the virus.
