14 Years Since She Was Dubbed As The Ugliest Woman in The World, This is How She Looks Now

Lizzie was dubbed as the most ugly woman in the world since 2006 till date.

-When she was just 17 years old, she saw a video on you tube that said 'world's ugliest woman' with her pictures attached in it.

-Her experience with bullying and hatred from people built her to what she is now.

-It is sad that some parents even use her pictures to scare their children so that they can eat.

Elizabeth Anne Velasquez is a 31 year old American motivational speaker, activist, author and youtuber. Lizzie was born four weeks prematuraly and weighed less than 3 pounds. She was born with a rare medical condition called Marfanoid-progeroid-lipodistrophy syndrome. Her disease prevents her from gaining body fat and weight. She is also blind in one eye.

Lizzie is the first born of three children, she has one brother and one sister.

During her childhood and teenage years, she was bullied at school and online. While that breaks some people down, Lizzie used her bad situation to bring others up, and that is why she took up motivational speaking. When asked how she stays so strong depsite the negative comments about her appearance, she said that her faith has been her rock. All she does is praying and talking to God, and knowing that He is there for her. She als has a very supportive.family that loves her so much.

Ever since she was declared as the ugliest woman in the world in the year 2006, she has always spoken against bullying. She has published a book of her own, together with her mother named Lizzie Beautiful: The Lizzie Velasquez Story. She also has another book called Be Beautiful, Be You.

Although she knows how to deal with cyber bullying and is very optimistic, she still gets the hate.

It has now been 14 years since she was dubbed the most ugly woman in the world. Depsite all that, Lizzie is still very optimistic. She does not let people's opinions define her.
