An Alleged Doctor Openly Speaks of The HIV Status Of A Certain Politician

In Kenya, about 2 millions people are living with HIV and AIDS. The disease has no cure but the immunity of the victim can be boosted to avoid body weakening.

Derrick Mbugua, a politician from Kahawa Wendani was surprised to see a woman alleging herself as a doctor revealing his HIV status after the yesterday's post in his Facebook page where he encouraged people to take ARV's to boost their immunity.

The woman identified as Mary-Everlynn Nyambura Chege wrote, "Huyo Derrick Mbugua by the way is HIV positive. He comes to a facility I work in covering his face na miwani na kofia. I was surprised when the post then nikakumbuka maybe anawaabia indirectly that dawa husaidia."

The woman says that she works in a medical facility where the politician comes for ARV's hiding his face to avoid being identified.

It is always against the law to publicly reveal the HIV status of a person.
