Stomach upset can be pretty annoying especially if it is associated with nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea. Here's some proven remedies to relieve stomach upset:


Ginger.

Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties and it's a natural remedy for nausea and vomiting. Ginger is good in any of its forms, you can eat it raw or cooked and even can be prepared as tea for effective results.


Mint.

Mint leaves contain menthol that helps to make your stomach calm and reduce indigestion problems. It also helps in reducing muscle spasms in the intestines and relieve pain.

Mint leaves can be consumed raw or can boil with cardamom and make tea.


Lemon and salt.

Lemon has anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. It not only soothes your stomach but also restores the pH balance in the body.

Add a pinch of salt to a glass of salt and squeeze in juice of one lemon then stir and drink the mixture.


Drinking plenty of water, clear sodas, diluted juices, clear soup, caffeine-free tea also helps.
