The Kenyan government has set records straight on whether there will be a sixth wave of the deadly COVID-19 disease.
Addressing Kenyans through the Ministry of Health, the government rubbished allegations by health experts that the progressive increase in Covid 19 cases in the country depicted that the country is heading to a sixth wave of Covid 19 disease.
The government has denounced the possibility of a sixth Covid 19 disease wave, articulating that the chances are very few.
The government maintained that the Kenyan citizens have gained health immunity from the previous waves of Covid 19, therefore rubbishing the possibility of another wave.
The government sentiments come at a time when the country has experienced a spike in the Covid 19 cases with the positivity rate now standing at 3.3%, a 1.1% increase from Monday 2.2%.
Records from the Ministry of Health indicate that 75 people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
