Natembeya has defended the move saying that it will prevent the spread of the deadly virus in Kenya. The Transzoia county boss also warned his people to cease traveling to Uganda until the situation is contained.
This move comes just a few days after Uganda reported cases of Ebola. The country is experiencing a 4th phase outbreak. As of today, 4 deaths have been reported.
2014, 2017, and 2019 is when Uganda was hit most by the Ebola outbreak.
Here in Kenya, the Ministry of Health has imposed measures to prevent the entry of the disease.
