Butere hospital in Kakamega county is currently on the spot after it emerged that patients admitted in the wards have been sharing beds with decomposing bodies.
According to one of the patients, identified as Yusuf Manyasa who hails from Shishebu village, he was admitted in the male ward at the health facility after being diagnosed of malaria and he came into his realization that he had spent his night in the ward with a decomposing body which had been left uncollected.
Manyasa also claims that three other patients whom had been admitted at the facility also had to share the ward with the man's body before he was admitted.
Unfortunately that was not the only body that had been left by the medics working in the facility, as a another body of a young boy was found left in the paediatric ward.
This has left the facility on the spot as several questions are emerging about the incidences.
