As the vaccination process is currently taking place across the whole country, the number of medics who have turned out for vaccination is alarming. Most medics have opted not to take the jab.
Controversial blogger Robert Alai took to his Facebook page to express his concern over medics failing to take the vaccines."Our frontline health workers REFUSED to go for vaccines and the govt had to call some of us to go and take it to convince the health workers," Alai posted
Alai added the the same health workers are now angry that others are going to get the vaccine they loathed before them. This has however been received different by Kenyans.Below are some of the reactions on his post.
"I am a frontline health care worker and I won't take this vaccine even if Kagwe took it today. Why continue administering a vaccine that over 10 countries have rejected? Why can't the government go for a safer vaccine? Remember we have over 3 types of COVID 19 vaccines in the market," Kiarie Ngaruiya reacted.
Should medics be forced to take the vaccines? Share your views below.
