The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board CEO on June 11, stated that a group of conmen with false job promises has hit the health ministry. Daniel Yumbya the KMPDC CEO lifted the lid noting that the conmen targeting the health practitioners are on the move now.
The CEO argued that the conmen were trying to extort money from unsuspecting job seekers
In his statement he urged the members of the public, doctors and other health practitioners to be on the look and report the conmen to the officers of the law for appropriate actions adding that the conmen promised fake jobs just to extort money.
He further added that the phone numbers of the conmen had been noted and tracked down for necessary actions and has urged the members of the public not to pay any money to anyone regarding lincesing and registration.
This follows days after the health CS transferred 31 employees who were termed as carteld including the senior public servants who were accused of misappropriation of Covid-19 funds.
