Disease like small pox has been eliminated from the face of the earth through good immunization programs and coverage. This has saved many people around the globe.

When the child is vaccinated against a certain disease like measles, their body will produce antibodies that will fight the disease. This will help to protect the body to fight the disease if it ever comes to attack the child ever again.

When a child is unvaccinated and get exposed to a disease germ, the child’s body may not be strong enough to fight the disease. This was killing alot of children who never got vaccinated.

Through vaccination, the children were getting protected against diseases and don't getting sick and can develop immunity without suffering from the actual diseases that vaccines prevent.
