(Muthai Kagwe addressing the nation)
The Health Cabinet Secretary Muthai Kagwe has announced new time for closure of bars.
Kagwe said that the closure of bars will now revert to the earlier set time of 11pm.
However, Kagwe stated the protocols of washing hands and sanitizing will still remain in force.
He also urged all kenyans who are eligible for vaccination to go on vaccination posts and get vaccinated, so that they can prevent themselves from Covid-19.
Kagwe also reminded kenyans that the reduced number of positivity rate does not mean that the pandemic is over.
All kenyans have been insisted to practice all the safety protocols issued by the Health Ministry to avoid another spike in the number of infections.
This comes just one day after President Uhuru Kenyatta lift the dusk to dawn curfew for the first time since 2020.
