In the last 24 hours the Ministry of Health has informed Kenyans that 704 people have tested positive for Covid 19, from a sample size of 6, 776. Today's positivity rate in Kenya is at 10.4 per cent. From the positive cases today 667 are Kenyans and 37 are foreigners. 367 are females and 337 are males. The youngest is one year old while the oldest is 104 years.
Nairobi County is leading followed by Kiambu then Nakuru County with 162, 85 and 44 respectively.
Another sad news to Kenyans is that 5 patients have succumbed to Covid 19 all of the cases are late deaths reported after the Ministry of Health conducted a facility audit. Today's fatalities pushes the death toll to 4, 800.
756 patients have recovered 689 from the home based isolation and 67 from the health care facilities countrywide.
