These types of ulcers are majorly caused by a bacteria called Helicobacter Pylori or prolonged use of anti-inflammatory medicines. Although spicy foods, alcohol and smoking do not necessarily cause ulcers, they increase the production of stomach acid which later spills into the sores hence causing pain. Symptoms of stomach ulcers are discomfort while eating, stomach pain that makes you wake up from sleep, feeling satisfied fast, bloating etc.

Honey is a powerful medicinal sweetener that can help you relieve stomach pains resulting from ulcers. Scientific studies indicate that honey contains antimicrobial effects against H. 2) Bananas

Ripe bananas have antibacterial elements in abundance that help to deter the growth of the H. Pylori bacteria. Besides regular consumption of bananas will help get rid of acidic juices in the stomach hence reducing stomach wall inflammation.

3) Garlic

Famous for its medicinal properties, garlic has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties which fight infections. Some scientific research indicates that garlic can help prevent the development of ulcers. Research further suggests that 2 cloves of garlic per day can help get rid of the H. Pylori bacteria.

Probiotics are common in fermented foods such as yorghut, buttermilk, and ghee etc. Some studies indicate that probiotics can help eradicate the H. Pylori bacteria. Those with ulcers can take a cup of probiotics 2 times daily for a week.
