Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.
Poor mental health affects our planning and end up making wrong choices given that thinking is not in right way. Despite bad and challenges which comes as a results of poor mental health there are some of solutions to improve mental health.
1. Connect with People.
One of the main reason as to why people suffer mentally is due to loneliness. Connecting with people helps reduce chances of overthinking which mostly happen as a result of loneliness.
2. Be physically active.
Being physically active makes the mind think well in a relaxed manner. When the body is not physically active, the concrete system is dormant this can be resolved by a vigorous exercise which awakens the cerebral nerve system hence back to normal.
3. Learn new Skills.
Solutions to loneliness which cause poor mental health can be resolved by learning new skills. This directly creates a chance to make mind active on the matter away from being idle and dormant.
4. Set realistic goals.
Working towards set goals generates focus on our daily planning. This makes mind to be always focused and creating no room to think otherwise since our minds are active.
5. Cut of toxic friends.
One of the main reason of poor mental health is caused by toxic friends. Toxic friends mainly in romance relationship cause heartbreaks which sometime it takes time to heal. It is advisable to identify with trusted friend to avoid cases of poor mental health.
6. Reach out when need help
Incase depressions exceed, it is advisable to reach out someone for help. This includes Psychologist, trusted friends or parents if available.
What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candor, and more unashamed conversation.
