The Covid-19 pandemic in the country is still affecting many citizens. However, the measures that were put up by the government to help curb the spread of Covid-19 pandemic are likely to be revised. Here are the reasons behind this:
1. The decline in positivity rate.
The positivity rate for covid-19 pandemic in the country has declined. For now, it is at 2.7 percent after 91 people tested positive in a sample size of 3435 tested in the last 24 hours.
This shows that the measures have resulted into good fruits and therefore, president Uhuru should revise them.
2. The vaccine.
The Covid-19 vaccine that is being administered to Kenyans is contributing on large scale to reduce the spread of the pandemic. As for now, many Kenya's have been vaccinated for the first dose and also for the second dose.
For this reason, Kenya stands a low risk of having many people infected with the pandemic. Therefore, this brings another reason as to why the Covid-19 protocols should be revised.
3. Kenyans request to the president.
On behave of Kenyans, let president Uhuru Kenyatta revise the Covid-19 measures so that the nation should be brought to normal.
In addition, some of politicians are also requesting president Uhuru Kenyatta to revise the Covid-19 protocols. This is the third resin as to why the measures are likely to be revised.
