The death of Catherine Kasavuli shocked the country a few days ago as she had been admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital for quite some time.
Catherine had been suffering from cervical cancer as per the reports that were released to the public and the media a few weeks ago.
Many Kenyans stood by her family throughout the ordeal and even extended their support in terms of finances which the family had asked for help to offset the hospital bill that had accrued to millions.
During the burial, the Cabinet Secretary of Sports, Ababu Namwamba, was present at the burial and so was the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance leader Martha Karua.
The two greeted each other warmly and later on, on his social media handle, the Cabinet Secretary pointed out that Martha Karua has been a great pillar to the family.
This morning, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us, Martha Karua has returned the favor and thanked Cabinet Secretary of Sports Ababu Namwamba for his support to the family as well.
"Thank you, my younger brother Cs Ababu Namwamba. You too have been a pillar of strength to the family during Catherine’s hospitalization as well as send of. Your generosity of spirit as well as deeds is to be commended. Best wishes to you as you serve the people of Kenya."
