1. Avoid spicy foods

Spicy foods increase your blood flow and initiate your menstrual flow. If you wish to postpone your menses, begin to avoid all sorts of spices such as garlic, chilies, peppers, turmeric, etc. When you avoid such foods, your periods will naturally delay.

2. Vinegar

Another way to delay your menses naturally is to drink some vinegar. Fill your glass with water and add about three to four spoonfuls of vinegar. That will postpone your menses for about three to four days. The mixture does not have the best taste but is worth your consideration.

3. Lemon

Lemons are a great source of Vitamin C and one of the most effective home remedies for delaying periods. Grate a full one in water or eat it raw to get the desired results. As much as it can postpone your periods, they also offer great relief for menstrual cramps.

4. Exercise

Though most people exercise to get rid of cramps, exercises also postpone your periods. By engaging in some vigorous training a week before your periods, you will notice that they will delay for a few days.
