The Ministry of Health has this night delivered information to all Kenyans on the state of COVID-19 in the country today. 423 samples were tested and from the sample size tested 21 tested positive for the virus.
10 of the new cases were males and 11 were females. 7 of the new cases are from Nairobi County, Nakuru 6, Meru 4, Nyeri 2, Kiambu and Migori 1 case each.
4 new cases have recovered all new recoveries are from the home based isolation and care program.
No fatalities were recorded during the period under review. The death toll remains at 5, 688.
36 patients are currently admitted in the health facilities countrywide and 235 are currently admitted in the home based isolation and care program.
