The ministry of health in coordination with the government of Kenya has been on the font line in ensuring that Kenyans receive up to date reports on COVID-19. The two have also worked together to ensure that Kenyans observe the protocols as given by them and where there is need for a change, they have acted with no delay.
According to the latest report announced by the ministry of health, it was reported that 1,412 people tested positive for the disease. This was said to be a record from a sample size of 9,219 that was tested in twenty four hours. This has by now raised the total number of positive cases to 134,058 since the confirmation of the first case of covid-19.
It was so saddening to announce that six (6) more patients succumbed to the disease . On a positive note, the ministry of health reported that 389 patients recovered from the disease. As at now, the total number of recoveries now stands at 92,679.
