Living a healthy life is not just eating the right wat and doing much more needed exercise. 1. Maintain a healthy weight

Maintaining a healthy weight is the most important things you can do to live healthy and lower your cancer risk. Having a higher percentage of fats in your body puts you at risk for cancer, heart diseases and diabetes. The following are ways you can use to ensure you don't add much fats in to your body;

√ Get moving. Aim for at least two-and-a-half hours of moderate aerobic exercise each week. And you can as well try Strength training at least two days a week.

√ Avoid too much sitting. sitting for most of hours in the day can put you in health risks. This can cause, diabetes, obesity, heart diseases and cancer. It is advisable to break from workdays and take a walk for at least 5 minutes every hour

√ Eat for your health. taking in many fruits and vegetables plays very important role in your life. Meanwhile you should also limit red meat and avoid processed meats. You're advised to drink a lot of water. Avoid too salty and sugary foods as well

2. Use good judgement with alcohol

Too much consumption of alcohol has been link to several cancers including breast cancer and aesoghageal cancer. On the same not taking very low or moderate alcohol may lower risk of death from all causes. If you don't drink stay away from alcohol, and if you prone to drinking then one drink for women and two drinks for men is equally a good goal.

3. Get your beauty sleep

Sleeping is very important in our life as it ensures we we accomplish the things we want in life. Research shows that chronic sleep loss may lead to weight gain and other health problems including cancer. Everybody needs to sleep well. And adults are advised to have approximately seven to eight hours of sleep.

4. Avoid tobacco

About 25% to 30% of cancer deaths are caused by tobacco according to the research. Most people still doesn't know the dangers of smoking. All tobacco products including e-cigarettes and smokeless tobacco are dangerous and contain cancer causing chemicals. So smoking tobacco in any form puts your life at risk.

5. Be smart in the sun

Taking vitamin D from the sun takes only little time to avoid skin cancer, including it's deadliest form, melanoma. Most people don't apply enough sunscreen and don't reapply it often enough. In most cases put a generous amount of sunscreen on every part of your body exposed to the sun, avoid direct sunlight from between 10. a.m to 12 p.m. That's when the sun's UV rays are most powerful.

6. Get screened

Getting screened can help you discover cancer at very low stages at a point when the chances for successful treatment for the Cancer diseases are still greatest. Screening can also help you discover other related diseases like heart diseases. Going for screening doesn't only mean you must be sick to attend to it. It simply mean just going to check if you are at any risk of contacting diseases.
