In our country, there are many youths who are jobless. Many youths are struggling everyday at least to get basic needs such as food, clothes and pay school fees. Furthermore, Covid-19 epidemic have affected many people in the country. Unfortunately, some youths have committed suicide because of challenges they are going through during this epidemic.
According to the source, every Kenyan who is 18 years old and above will start paying for NHIF. It has been reported every household in the country will contribute Ksh500 in every month to National Health insurance Fund. This will be Ksh6000 per year. Furthermore, all employers in the country are required to pay for their employees. I quote some statement from the source, " contributions will be made by all Kenyans from 18 years old and above in both formal and informal sectors" part of the bill reads.
This are bad news to Kenyans because many youths are jobless and cannot even afford a single cent to buy food. Furthermore, some are coming from poor background in the country.
