Covid Positive Cases Distribution Per County in The Last 24 Hours

Twenty six people have unfortunately died in the last 24 hours up from the number of people that succumbed to the virus yesterday. This brings the total of deaths in the country since the pandemic started to 2420 fatalities.

981 people have tested positive today meaning that the virus is not showing any signs of relenting. This is from a sample pool of 7,529 bringing the positivity rate to 13%.

665 patients have recovered from the virus and this is some good news that people can take to heart a bit given the harsh times. 528 were from home based care and 137 were in hospitals.

Nairobi County still leads the number of positive cases with 349 people out of the 981. Bungoma, Turkana, Kiambu and Kisumu follow in that order according to the Ministry of Health. The ministry urges people to adhere to the laid out guidelines to flatten the curve.
