President Joe Biden of the United States of America arranged Uhuru's visit to the White House on Thursday. The former Finance Minister became the first African to meet with US President Barack Obama up up and personal. He saw the marking of various bilateral agreements aimed at strengthening the relationship between the two countries.

He also chaired a United Nations Security Council debate in New York City, where world leaders discussed topics such as appropriate growth, peacebuilding, and global cohesion.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta arrived at the Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital (KUTTRH) in Kiambu County shortly after returning to the country to command the authority inauguration of an Intergrated Molecular Imaging and Hospitality Center (IMIC).

The current IMIC is the first of its kind in Kenya and the region, and it was established as part of the government's efforts to increase access to cancer care in the country. During their stay at the hospital, the Hospitality Center may accommodate up to 100 patients and their families.
