Dr Gakara and his two kids were laid to rest yesterday at their family home at Muririchwa area of Mbaruk in Gilgil subcounty.
Although the initial plan was to burry them in one grave, the family settled on two graves and one white tile slab to cover the graves.
Everyone eulogized him as a good , loving, kind doctor and father.
Doctor Norman Njogu eulogized Dr Gakara as a doctor who worked with great finesse.
Despite him being one of the best gynaecologists in the Country, Dr Gakara gave him the pleasure to deliver his two kids with Winnie Odhiambo, Dylan and Hailey.
When each baby was delivered, Dr Gakara would hold a huge party for the surgical team and gift them live goats.
Dr Gakara is alleged to have injected his kids with an unidentified drug before trying to commit suicide. The reason behind the act will forever remain a mystery.
