"I Don't Believe Witches Killed My Daughter" Hellen Wendy's Father Emotional Speech During Burial
By Shantynews (self media writer) | 4 months ago
Hellen Wendy, the Canada based Kenyan nurse who drowned to death in a swimming pool while recording herself live on Facebook in August 2022 was laid to rest today in an emotional send off at her native home in Kisii.
Her body arrived in Kenya from Canada on Saturday 1st October. The travel costs were facilitated by well wishers who raised cash through a GoFundMe link.
During the burial, her father John Nyabuto revealed that he doesn't believe witchcraft was involved in his daughters death since Canada is a far away country and she has been there for 5 years.
According to him, Wendy died a normal death and might have slid or even developed a muscle pull while she was inside the swimming pool. John said that they have already accepted it was the will of God. He asked mourners to pray for him to be able to raise his other kids since Wendy was the sole bread winner.
