Speaking in Kiambu town while inspecting the distribution of today's KCSE Exam papers, the Ministry of Education CS George Magoha ascertained parents and guardians that schools will reopen as earlier planned and that there will be no change in the school calendar.
This good message comes amid fears that the current wave of Covid-19 infection is of a higher rate and could prolong the reopening of schools in the country.
Magoha's decision was pegged on the fact that there is a decline in Covid-19 infections according to the latest reports from the Ministry of Health (MoH).
CS Magoha's announcement also comes when the MoH has outlined some facts about Coronavirus while advising them to go for the Covid-19 Jab, bringing more hope to Kenyan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the Covid-19 vaccine provides immunity against the disease and reduces the risk of contracting the Covid-19 infection. Therefore, people should go for it to protect themselves, their loved ones and coworkers.
