1. Eating lots of spicesSmelly foods and lots of spices are the greatest source of bad breath. Things like excessive use of garlic, Chilli pepper may cause an unpleasant smell in your mouth. This spices are easily absorbed into the body and even into the blood stream and don't easily leave the body and that can be the reason for bad breath. The smell may even still remain even after brushing your teeth.
2. Not brushing your teeth
This is infact one of the major reasons for bad breath. It's only when you brush your teeth will you be able to remove the food particles that get trapped in the mouth. The inflammation of the gums is as a result of not brushing your teeth daily.
3. Health issues
Health issues like dry mouth may cause bad breath since the mouth may not have enough fertilizer to clean the mouth. When food in the mouth decomposes, it may lead to bad breath. Such people should be very hygienic and ensure that they brush their teeth at least twice a day.
4. Crash dietCrash dieting is medically proven to be unhealthy. Crash dieting is what leads to halitosis. When crash dieting, the body starts using all the proteins in the body to generate energy. Since the body has minimal carbohydrates, when proteins begin generating energy they produce ketones which are the source of bad breath.
