MoH Under Tight Spot After Allegations Of Under Reporting Of Daily Positive COVID-19 Cases Rise

The Ministry Of Health has been under pressure to deliver and sensesitise people on the lethalness brought about by Coronavirus.

The Minstry under the stewardship of CS Mutahi Kagwe seems to be managing the third wave very well as daily reports of positive COVID-19 cases are dropping everyday.

However, Murang'a senator Irungu Kangata has dropped claims that more people are dying of this virus and is shocked by the numbers the Ministry of Health are releasing during their daily briefings.

Kangata strongly says he knows a lot of people who have died of the pandemic from his county as strongly believes the cases from other counties are unjustifiable.

“I suspect there is a lot of under reporting of COVID-19 in counties. I strongly believe the money we are about to expend on BBI should be taken back and reallocated to fight COVID-19”Irungu Kangata During An Interview With Citizen TV.

He believes it's time the push BBI is put to a halt and the resources channelled in fighting the pandemic to avoid an Indian situation where the country is bowing to the virus.
