In addition, researchers found that men who sleep 5 hours suffer decrease in their testosterone levels by 10% to 15%.
Other effects of inheathy sleep mood disorders. Scientists have linked chronic sleep disorders with mental stress, anxiety and depression. Researchers have further found that sleep disturbances associated with pain and disability in patients who suffer from chronic diseases such as arthritis. Scientists claim that sleep durations have a direct association with type 2 diabetes.
