He pointed out that allowing Kenyans to be immunized willingly isn't the solution at all.
"Let every Kenyan be vaccinated and produce their vaccination certificates, this is the only way we will reduce the surge of this deadly global pandemic," he said.
The legislator noted that if the government won't be serious in dealing with Covid-19 disease it will kill many Kenyans at will.
"This is a foreign disease that should be handled accordingly, we should not allow it to wipe Kenyans, let all patriotic Kenyans undergo the vaccination to help their bodies be immune against it," said Barasa.
He lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta for partially opening the country and allow movement of people across it.
"The country's economy has crumbled, Kenyans are suffering, they are unable to provide basic things like food, clothing's and school fees because of the foreign disease, let be handled with all seriousness," he stated.
He called on the government to test and quarantine all foreigners touring the country like Tourists to help reduce the surge of covid-19.
"Don’t sacrifice the hardwork of Kenyans, their resilience against unemployment, and oppressive tax regime by kicking them off their businesses through Covid 19 protocols for small economic gains from people of certain races in the name of tourists," Test them.
He called for their Quarantine, retesting them before giving them leeway to enter our country. Doing anything contrary to this would make Kenya stare at a fourth wave.
