The ministry of health has confirmed to Kenyans that 241 more people have tested positive for the virus from a total sample of 2,215. The total confirmed cases in the country now is at 151,894.
The country positivity rate today is at 9.6%.
In the 241 new cases 223 are Kenyans while 13 are foreigners.
135 cases are males and 106 are females.
The youngest is 7 year old and the oldest person is 90 years old.
Nairobi has more cases with 153 cases followed by Meru with 18, Uasin Gishu 14, Machakos 10, Kiambu 9, Nakuru 9, Mombasa 8, Nandi 6, Kitui 3, Bungoma 2, Kajiado 2, Nyandarua 2, Kilifi 1, Murang'a 1, Nyeri 1, West Pokot 1 and Kakamega 1.
