Coronavirus was first reported in Kenya on March 2020 and since then the virus has claimed the life of a number of individuals. Among which are prominent actors, doctors and even politician. The virus even cause the president to lock up some of the counties so as to contained the virus.
Today the ministry of health has given Kenyans a positive news which will give people hope. The minister of health Mutahi Kagwe has given the update and it was reported that in the last 24 hours 345 people have tested positive for coronavirus from a sample of 6,686 which is a positivity rate of 5.2 percent. The rate dropped from that of Monday which was 8.3 percent.
This is actually a good news to Kenyan's since with strict adhearance to Covid-19 directives gives we will fight this virus and go back to the way life was before the pandemic. The total recovery now stands at 109,219 and the total infected at 160,904.
With that positivity rate it seems we are actually getting somewhere.
