Doreen always says that gone are the days that people used to fear HIV so much. With medications nowadays HIV is a very tiny virus which can be suppressed with medication adherence. HIV positive patients are able to live a quality healthy optimum life. Long ago HIV used to be called the slimming disease. However, nowadays people who adhere to medication look very healthy.
Doreen has talked about her HIV journey and how she was diagnosed eight years later. Doreen embarked on a journey to start her ARV treatment and later stopped taking them after visiting a witch doctor from Loliondo. However Doreen became sick and returned to her HIV treatment.
